Graduating Senior Awards
The application period for these awards opens on Monday, December 15, 2025
You must have an upper-division GPA of 3.5 or greater in your UC Davis coursework to apply for the following awards. You must have graduated in either September or December 2025, or will be graduating in March or June 2026. Students graduating in the Summer Quarter 2026 must apply the following year (2026-27). The deadline to apply for all awards is Sunday, February 1, 2026. The deadline for recommendations is Monday, February 16, 2026.

CBS Awards Ceremony: Saturday, May 30, 2026
CBS Distinguished Scholar Award
This award is also known as the Outstanding Performance Citation and noted on your final transcript. Given to several graduating seniors who have conducted substantial research before graduation and maintained an upper division GPA of at least 3.5.
NOTE: Recipients of the Outstanding Senior Award for each CBS major, Undergraduate Student of the Year, College Medal, and University Medal will be chosen from the applicant pool for these awards.
