Research Interest Summary
Post-translation modifications of circadian clock proteins with a focus on protein degradation regulation.
Research Interests
My lab studies various aspects of post-translational modifications (PTM) and protein regulation. I am interested in dissecting PTM components of ubiquitin ligase regulation. I study the SCF ligase that contains the F-box SLIMB/beta-TrCP, which regulates protein degradation during numerous biological processes, such as circadian rhythm. I am primarily focused on the regulatory role of SLIMB phosphorylation, but I plan to investigate additional modifications as the project progresses.
